Owner Robert Botts's dream has always been to have his own ice cream shop. After buying the alley in 2017, he decided to remodel part of the alley into an ice cream shop. The second floor of the alley stored original Brunswick furniture and wood approach from the 1961 Star Lanes alley. ("Star" coming from the building's original use as the Fox/Crane movie theater.) You will notice the old furniture as seating and the approaches as tabletops. To keep with the bowling theme, Robert decided to name his ice cream shop "The Ice Cream Bowl".
